As magazines loose ad pages and newspapers go bankrupt,TV Shows get poor content. The Internet is leading the way as the most powerful vehicle for news and information delivery of the future. The internet is already a powerful tool for writers, photographers, designers, etc .You can watch television shows for free, get up to celebrity gossip, what to wear or not to wear, get breaking News on your mobile phone from CNN.Designers are inspired by blogs, bloggers and street style. Some people even wonder if Blogs will replace websites or take jobs away from graphic and web designers. The self published blog, which is typically updated more often than websites, is clearly the New Darling of the this internet decade.
“WEBLOG”:

For me the Internet and blogging is the only easy way of sharing and finding news and views that the mainstream media do not report!
Hi Adriana,
It was a pleasure meeting with you and Elan today. It is uncommon to meet someone as eloquent, as intelligent, and with such strong opinions and with such willingness to share the latter. I hope to see you guys later on this year perhaps at your father-in law’s home in CA. Elan mentioned he’d like to do the book out there perhaps where more members of the family are present.
As far as our conversation today goes. I dug a little bit deeper and came up with an actual psychological reason why we pay more attention to the bad stuff than the good. It is called “negative bias” and it is a product of evolution. This is a characteristic which has been developed by all sentient beings in order to stay alive. For example: a small fish will ignore every day situations even when these might be an overabundance of food but will immediately start paying attention if anywhere within its immediate periphery i.e. a bigger fish, a possible predator, where to show up.
It behooves us to pay attention to the negative in order to better survive. It is an indispensable requisite of the human status in order to stay alive. I’m not saying this is a happy thought or that this is simply a voyeuristic or vicarious pessimistic look on live. But instead I believe it to be simply a stasis of nature for ensuring the continuity of our species.
I also found this too:
“Bias Blues” by Mallory Meter and Jacob Minnaug on Neuroanthropology.
Here is a link to the the whole article:

but I thought the below was the relevant point.
Anthropologist Clause Levi-Strauss’ insights can begin to demonstrate why negativity always seems to win over positivity. Levi-Strauss’ theory of structuralism is centered on the idea that every meaning, every thought, and every culture in our world is built around dualities. The dualities, such as positivity and negativity, are all around us whether we are consciously aware of it or not. There’s a catch though. In each duality there is generally a marked side that shapes how we make meaning. One side is stronger – it wins out.
Levi-Strauss’ approach is important in understanding how we as a species operate, but it doesn’t necessarily answer why negativity is the marked side. One possible answer is in the very chemistry of our brains. Recent studies have examined an idea known as the “negativity bias” of our brains. One such study performed at Ohio State found that there is an increase in neural firing in the brain when people were shown negative images compared to when they were shown positive images. More information processing actually takes place when we see soldiers killing than when we see people helping in Haiti. As a result, our attitudes and emotions will be far more negative. In other words, you can change the channel from CNN to American Idol but it doesn’t matter. Your brain remembers.
.
